What Are Featured Reviews?

"Featured Reviews" is a feature that allows you to highlight the most valuable or positive customer reviews. These reviews are manually selected, curated, and displayed prominently on your website to capture the attention of potential buyers.

How to Use "Featured Reviews"

Using Featured Reviews in Ryviu is simple. Follow the steps below to set it up.

Step 1: Select Reviews to Feature

You must manually select reviews and set them as featured in the Ryviu dashboard > Reviews.

• Select one by one by changing the review status in the 'Featured' column.

  

• Select multiple reviews and change the featured status of reviews.

  

Step 2: Add the Featured Review Widget

Add the widget to display your featured reviews on the desired page. Based on your theme, choose one of the following methods.

Option 1: Add a Section (For Shopify 2.0 OS Themes)

• Login to your Shopify store admin

• Navigate to Sales channels, and select Online store.

• In Themes, click the Customize button of the theme you want to add section.

• On the page template where you want to add a featured review widget.

• Click + Add section > Apps > select Featured Reviews.

  

• Click the Save button.

Option 2: Add Featured Review widget codes

If your theme doesn’t support app sections, manually add the Featured Review widget code:

• From your store admin > navigate to Sales channels.

• Open Online Store > Themes.

• Click Customize in the theme you want to add the Featured Review widget.

• Open the template you want to add to the widget.

• Click + Add section > select Custom HTML or Custom Liquid

• Add Ryviu widget code
